How late can I submit my song request?

We recommend you submit your song request at least 14 days before the event date. You can either send us the song title and artist name or just send a YouTube link. If you want me to play a cover song, it’s best to send the original version but any other versions will be accepted….

Do you have sample performances?

Please check out the media page for sample violin performances. If you’d like to get updates and inspirations on songs, please subscribe to the YouTube Channel. New videos are uploaded regularly. Duet performances will be added later and they are not available right now.

What kind of small ensembles do you provide?

In addition to solo violin by Julia Taylor, we also do duos (such as violin+cello and violin+piano), trio (piano trio, string trio) and quartet. For cocktail hour and receptions, we might be able to bring in a Jazz band we work with.

Have you played at this venue yet?

There are so many beautiful venues in Colorado and it’s hard for the vendors to have worked at every venue before. That said, since we have worked in so many different venues, we learned to perform our best even in new venues.

What do you need from on the event day?

It’s best to have armless chairs and cover when we perform. For outdoor events, we’d like to stay in the shades of the sun, or under cover when it rains, or snow.

What kind of payments do you take?

We take Venmo, Zelle, all major credit and debit cards via Paypal, checks, and cash. The total payment is usually split into a non-refundable deposit and the balance. The deposit is due at the time of booking. If you choose to pay the entire amount during booking, the balance will be refundable should you cancel…

We have a venue, and a date, but we have not decided the ceremony time yet. Can we still book?

Yes, this happens sometimes. If you have a rough idea what time of the day, say, afternoon, that’d be a good start for us to block the time for you. As our contract says, schedule changes can be amended after the contract is signed.

A signed contract and non-refundable deposit is required to book and secure a date on the Gigue Music Calendar.
