There are so many beautiful venues in Colorado and it’s hard for the vendors to have worked at every venue before. That said, since we have worked in so many different venues, we learned to perform our best even in new venues.

We recommend you submit your song request at least 14 days before the event date. You can either send us the song title and artist name or just send a YouTube link. If you want me to play a cover song, it’s best to send the original version but any other versions will be accepted. Remember, if a song isn’t on my sample song list page, you’re still very welcome to request it.

Yes, we can perform for your rehearsal dinner. This service is priced by the hour (2hr+), plus applicable travel fee. Please submit a request for a quote through our contact form.

Yes, this happens sometimes. If you have a rough idea what time of the day, say, afternoon, that’d be a good start for us to block the time for you. As our contract says, schedule changes can be amended after the contract is signed.

Our wedding ceremony packages include 30 minutes of prelude music and everything from processional through recessional. If you have a unity ceremony, we can also play a song for that. You can also request songs that’s special to you at no additional cost.

It’s best to have armless chairs and cover when we perform. For outdoor events, we’d like to stay in the shades of the sun, or under cover when it rains, or snow.

We take Venmo, Zelle, all major credit and debit cards via Paypal, checks, and cash. The total payment is usually split into a non-refundable deposit and the balance. The deposit is due at the time of booking. If you choose to pay the entire amount during booking, the balance will be refundable should you cancel at least 48 hours before the wedding day.

In addition to solo violin by Julia Taylor, we also do duos (such as violin+cello and violin+piano), trio (piano trio, string trio) and quartet. For cocktail hour and receptions, we might be able to bring in a Jazz band we work with.

A signed contract and non-refundable deposit is required to book and secure a date on the Gigue Music Calendar. Right now, we are taking 50% up to $200 as non-refundable deposit for solo violin packages, and up to $400 as deposit for duo packages.

As part of an initiative to make everything as easy as possible for our client, we moved to signing e-contract in 2019. We also take all kinds of payments online and offline.
